Social Activities
Sri A. MANICKAVEL is one of the most popular Social Worker and philanthropist in GUNTUR. He, directly or indirectly, helped and is helping so many poor and Charitable Institutions, Orphanages, and Missionaries, Old age homes and institutes for the mentally challenged (Dakshina).
He is also helping the needy and the poor people through Lions Club and Rotary Club, by conducting free Eye testing camps, Medical Camps, and Blood donation Camps, etc. He has also donated funds to Natural Calamity Funds Organizations in all the States in India quite often (Gujarat Earth Quakes, A.P. Cyclone and during severe Tsunami disasters in A.P. and Tamilnadu States).
Love for social activities
Every year he has been donating Educational funds for Books, Clothes, fees, etc. to poor children directly and through Bala Bharathi in GUNTUR and Kamaraj Public School, Tadepalli, GUNTUR, and so many other Social Welfare Organizations.
He is also involved in the Spiritual and Sports activities in A.P. and donated to the Organization’s Conductors. Every month he is also offers free meals (Annadanam) to more than 200 poor people for 4 days a week in Temples.
WALK FOUNDATION ( WELFARE ARTIFICIAL LIMB CENTRE )
Sri A. MANICKAVEL, who is the President of “ WALK FOUNDATION,” is providing monitory support to this Association to provide Artificial limbs freely to the physically handicapped poor people through their WALK FOUNDATION unit arranged at autonagar, GUNTUR City only in Andhra Pradesh by appointing skilled technicians to prepare the artificial limbs in A.P. itself, without going to JAIPUR ( RAJASTHAN) by the physically handicapped people for getting artificial limbs.
NADARGAL MUNNETRA SANGAM
Honorable Sri A.MANICKAVEL is the Managing Trustee of the NADARGAL MUNNETRA SANGAM. This Sangam is running a School under the name Kamaraj Public School at Tadepalli, Guntur Dist.
This School is providing quality education to the poor students for a nominal fee too.
TAMIL CULTURAL ASSOCIATION
The Hon’ble President of TAMIL CULTURAL ASSOCIATION, Sri A.MANICKAVEL. The association’s main activities are to arrange and promote Cultural Programs to their association members and Social services like distributing free Note Books, Uniforms to the poor students. This association also contributing to the Cyclone Relief Fund to the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. etc.
M.B.A.PROJECT WORK TO STUDENTS
To inspire and encourage the students in their studies, Sri Manickavel is also helping them attain admission to M.B.A. Also allowing the current students to do their Project Work to get practical exposure they need, in his firm as part of their studies in the field of FINANCE (WORKING CAPITAL, RATIO ANALYSIS, CAPITAL BUDGETING), MARKETING and SALES PROMOTION wings and also issuing Certificates after completing their Project Work.
He also employed Mr. R.BALA SUBRAHMANYAM, one of his company’s senior staff who is working as Area Sales Manager, as a guide of the students to instill knowledge and let them think out of the box and help the young generation under his supervision, as they are the leaders of future generation to lead our nation effectively.
